It was an event where 2 Protestant churches and the Catholic parish of the city came together, in this small town of a little over 7,000 people. In this event, about 800 people were able to hear the gospel, and about\u00a0<em><strong>190 people responded to the call to surrender their lives to Christ<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-_d479eb-69 .kt-block-spacer{height:20px;}.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-_d479eb-69 .kt-divider{border-top-width:1px;height:1px;border-top-color:#ffca28;width:80%;border-top-style:dashed;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-_d479eb-69\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dim.mcusercontent.com\/cs\/a4142a581ee2b4948423cc033\/images\/85d3559f-2326-06f1-5687-03a552369c9d.jpg?w=564&amp;dpr=2\" alt=\"\" width=\"486\" height=\"364\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>We ended the month with our&nbsp;<strong>annual Fall Fest<\/strong>&nbsp;for the neighborhood. Just like in the states, we have game stations for the kids to play and then receive some candy. However, we also have a \u201cshow\u201d element, where Impact takes over and captures everyone\u2019s attention. Since we have been creating relationship with our neighborhood for many years,&nbsp;<em><strong>we felt that it was time to not only have a Fall<br>Fest to build connection in the neighborhood, but also as an opportunity for these people to hear the gospel, and make a connection with Christ<\/strong><\/em>. We advertised this Fall Fest as a time to \u201c<strong>celebrate Life<\/strong>\u201d, as we were planning to take time during our \u201cshow element\u201d to explain. And then the day finally arrived, as did THE RAIN!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\">\n<figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dim.mcusercontent.com\/cs\/a4142a581ee2b4948423cc033\/images\/0dcbb00d-2f48-7438-e979-cf1c64b9e1ed.jpg?w=564&amp;dpr=2\" alt=\"\" width=\"484\" height=\"272\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>However, with our plan B,\u00a0<strong>we saw a little over 100 people<\/strong>\u00a0show up that night (<em>pictured above<\/em>), including the town hall counselor of wellbeing, education, and immigration. If you remember from last spring, I shared with you that\u00a0<em>ALPHA is 10-week evangelistic small group that consist of videos that challenge and open up discussions that lead to a moment to make Jesus their Lord<\/em>. Not ALL attended, but as you can see in the above picture, we were a pretty big group. If I\u2019m being honest, I didn\u2019t even want to go on this retreat &#8211; I didn\u2019t want to be \u201cstuck with a bunch of females doing girly things\u201d..haha (if you know me, you KNOW). However, God changed my heart, and I began to write various people to help me to be able to take part in this weekend, and I am SOOO glad I did.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\">\n<figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dim.mcusercontent.com\/cs\/a4142a581ee2b4948423cc033\/images\/808338dd-e789-1c4f-4a8e-9b1989d84cc6.jpg?w=564&amp;dpr=2\" alt=\"\" width=\"519\" height=\"309\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>It was really nice getting\u00a0<strong>to connect with other wives who love God and hear from Him, and aren\u2019t afraid to challenge you<\/strong>. It was also my first weekend away from my sweet girl, but daddy kept my phone loaded with pix.\u00a0<em>I\u2019m so grateful to be in a place that creates a space for opportunities such as this<\/em>.
