Because,&nbsp;<strong>people here in Spain are more open to hearing about Jesus Christ during this time<\/strong>, we wanted to take advantage of this week to use it as an outreach week for our students. Leading up to Semana Santa, we have had 4 weeks of classes, so Semana Santa was our first outreach week for our students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We started the week with\u00a0<strong>3 days of classes, talking about \u201cThe person and work of the Holy Spirit\u201d, \u201cOperating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit\u201d, and \u201cSupernatural Healing\u201d<\/strong>. We then teamed up with Impact during their youth camp &#8211; taking part in connecting with the youth from the different small groups Impact has been able to form, and then going out for street evangelism.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dim.mcusercontent.com\/cs\/a4142a581ee2b4948423cc033\/images\/c1ccbbac-dc46-ce15-44c6-d01fd0b4e649.jpg?w=564&amp;dpr=2\" alt=\"\" width=\"463\" height=\"260\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>As a DTS, we took part in\u00a0<em>an open air church service<\/em>, in the city square, where the different evangelical churches all came together to celebrate Easter Sunday. There, the students were able to perform a drama (their first one), and we witnessed\u00a0<strong>many people choosing to surrender their lives to Christ\u00a0<\/strong>that morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"690\" data-id=\"1621\" src=\"https:\/\/meetnostrangers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/IMG-20220417-WA0026-1024x690.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1621\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1170\" height=\"690\" data-id=\"1623\" src=\"https:\/\/meetnostrangers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/EasterEggHunt2022-39-1170x690.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1623\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1170\" height=\"690\" data-id=\"1622\" src=\"https:\/\/meetnostrangers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/EasterEggHunt2022-7-1170x690.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1622\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>After celebrating Easter Sunday over lunch together, we ended the day with an\u00a0<em>Easter Egg hunt\u00a0<\/em>&#8211;\u00a0<strong>where over 40 kiddos<\/strong>\u00a0came out, with their parents\/guardians. They were able to hear the gospel, and all of us were able to also make connections with new families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-background\" style=\"background-color:#777777\">This was a very difficult week for many of our students, as it was a \u201cnon-stop\u201d week. We had to have many times of encouraging them to rest when there were \u201clittle pockets of time\u201d, but also reminded them that this is only a taste of what outreach will look\/feel like &#8211; international &amp; national outreach are much longer than a week, and can be much more tiring :). Nonetheless, they all survived and ALL had great things to share about what they learned from the week. I love seeing how God is growing all of them and moving in their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All-in-all, classes and co-living between staff and students have been going really well. And we have seen so many breakthroughs within our students. God is moving in the lives of our staff and students, and Andrew and I are very grateful that God has chosen us to be part of their journey.\u00a0<em>As I have shared with a few of you about some specific details about some of our students &#8211; I thank you for praying specifically for those students<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\">\n<figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dim.mcusercontent.com\/cs\/a4142a581ee2b4948423cc033\/images\/b24c62c8-703e-c099-1607-0bc3dfea1f8d.jpg?w=564&amp;dpr=2\" alt=\"\" width=\"472\" height=\"265\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>What is one of my favorite things about our DTS students is the variety of cultures that they all bring to the table. With the different cultures, it made for a great time to have a\u00a0<strong>Food Festival<\/strong>\u00a0to be able to raise some money for Cien por Cien Vida (our NGO). At this food festival, our students each decided on a plate to prepare from their country, to sell. I wasn\u2019t able to attend (read below to find out why), but I heard all about how awesome they all did! All who came truly had a great time connecting and eating.<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-_f750ec-8c .kt-block-spacer{height:20px;}.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-_f750ec-8c .kt-divider{border-top-width:1px;height:1px;border-top-color:#ffca28;width:80%;border-top-style:dashed;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-_f750ec-8c\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-center has-white-color has-text-color has-background wp-block-heading\" style=\"background-color:#7b1e1e\">International Outreach: Romania<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are currently preparing for our international outreach to Romania. The plan is to leave May 28th to work with a YWAM base in Kluj, for about 3 weeks. There we will be working largely with Ukrainian refugees and the gypsy population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-background is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-1 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\" style=\"background-color:#ffca28\">\n<p>I will not be joining the DTS for this time, however Andrew plans to go for part of the time time. He will need about $500 to be able to take part in this outreach.&nbsp;<strong>We would greatly appreciate if you\u2019d pray about giving towards this trip for him to be able to go<\/strong>.&nbsp;<em>You can give through any of the ways&nbsp;listed below. We are both tired, but loving this life as parents to the sweetest girl, who has the biggest attitude haha.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dim.mcusercontent.com\/cs\/a4142a581ee2b4948423cc033\/images\/18675164-7bf0-2ac3-70e5-74d4a8cc8d72.jpg?w=564&amp;dpr=2\" alt=\"\" width=\"531\" height=\"298\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>She was born on Thursday the 21st, and we were able to go home with her that Saturday. However, the following Wednesday, after her first pediatrician appt, she was admitted to the hospital for jaundice. It nearly broke my mama\u2019s heart (emotions were extremely high &#8211; so just imagine the amount of tears), however, the peace that did come over me was INCREDIBLE. God is so sweet. I am so thankful for the community He has blessed us with here as well, that has been with us through all of this journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She spent 2 nights in the NICU. Andrew and I were there for both days that she was there, which ended up not only being beneficial to her (her time at the \u201cbeach\u201d) but it also turned out to be a blessing for me. One of the nurses in the NICU, Elena was her name, was a tremendous help to me with taking care of a few breastfeeding needs.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dim.mcusercontent.com\/cs\/a4142a581ee2b4948423cc033\/images\/62e28c55-55a9-1db7-2237-95d9c009302d.jpg?w=564&amp;dpr=2\" alt=\"\" width=\"591\" height=\"332\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>We are very happy to have our baby girl back home with us, and now able to continue working on incorporating her into our routine of life in the ministry, while also just learning to be parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-text-color has-background\" style=\"background-color:#777777\">This Sunday, my mom will be here for about 2 weeks!!! I am soooo excited for her to be here to not only get to know her new \u201csnookums\u201d, but also just to be here!! And we\u2019ll be able to celebrate mother\u2019s day together :). And when she leaves, Andrew\u2019s sister will be arriving.
