All of this in order for people to have the opportunity to hear the good news about Jesus Christ.    <\/h5>\n\n\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-1921_d78011-34 .kt-block-spacer{height:23px;}.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-1921_d78011-34 .kt-divider{border-top-width:1px;height:1px;border-top-color:#888888;width:80%;border-top-style:solid;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-1921_d78011-34\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Holy Week<\/strong> is one of our favorite times for outreach to share the gospel because here in Spain, people are more open to receiving the good news about Jesus Christ during this time&#8230;so, we take advantage.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Years ago, we introduced our neighborhood to what we do in the United States &#8211; an Easter Egg Hunt, where we explained to the kids:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-verse has-kb-palette-2-background-color has-background\"><em>The egg represents <strong>new life<\/strong> which helps us remember that after Jesus died, <strong>He resurrected and is alive<\/strong>.  We search for the eggs just like the disciples were searching for Jesus after He was crucified.  When they found Him they found new life, and <strong>it reminds us of the eternal life He offers us when we believe in Him<\/strong><\/em><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Two years ago, we decided to make a big event out of this time to be able to reach more of the community. We gave the event a name, <strong>PASCUA EL SAUCAR<\/strong> &#8211; Pascua meaning Easter and El Saucar being the name of our neighborhood, added more elements (<em>games, face painting, nail painting, crafts, and a show<\/em>), and moved the event from our base to a park. We had over 200 people show up. Over 200 people were able to hear the gospel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile is-style-default\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1170\" height=\"690\" src=\"https:\/\/meetnostrangers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/20240322_125057-1-1170x690.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1929 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p><strong>This year<\/strong>, we planned to do the same.  I even went out to scope out the land to begin mapping out where everything would go.  The sun was out&#8230;until it wasn&#8217;t.  The day of the event, IT RAINED!  It rained all week, leading up to the event, but I kept holding out that it would stop.  It didn&#8217;t.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Would people come out in the rain?  Would it still work out if we had the event indoors?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-kb-palette-11-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-fbc369d0653b89568db7633096d53291\" style=\"background-color:#000000;font-size:25px;font-style:normal;font-weight:600;text-transform:uppercase\">The answer is yes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div People heard the gospel.  People responded.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love the people I get to work with, who choose to say YES to God no matter what, and just go for it.
